THE SAFETY CAP
In 1988 Polti invented the “safety cap” applied to both Vaporella and Vaporetto, patented world-wide. The cap will not open if there is even the tiniest bit of steam pressure in the boiler, preventing accidental opening and injury.

CREMA EXPRESS
Patent present on all Polti espresso machines. This device forces the water to stay in the capsule for a few seconds, thoroughly impregnating the coffee. This ensures a natural pre-infusion allowing complete use of all the coffee’s aroma. Sufficient pressure and a micro-injection of air while coffee is being dispensed creates thick, long-lasting cream. |

The Eco-Active water filter used on Lecologico and Vaporetto Lecoaspira creates a special whirlpool which lets incoming air into water to retain dirt so that it cannot be released back into the air. |

The nozzle of Polti Sani System has a patented system consisting of a controlled-expansion heat-exchanging device that heats the steam further, bringing it to a temperature of 180°C. |
