- Don’t let your laundry get too dirty, and don’t leave it sitting in the laundry basket too long
- Always do a full load of laundry in the washing machine. Soak the clothes overnight first
- Instead of fabric softener, add one or two glasses of white vinegar to the final rinse
- Close containers of detergent properly and keep them out of the reach of children.
- Don’t waste water! You don’t need to run water for ages to rinse your washing.
- Add a teaspoon of white vinegar or baking powder to every load of washing to freshen it and get rid of odours.
- Use liquid soap or unscented soap flakes for hand washing.
- Per il lavaggio a mano usate sapone in scaglie non profumato oppure sapone liquido.
- Your laundry will be perfectly white if you use half the recommended amount of detergent plus one packet of yeast.
- Woollens and mohair sweaters will stay soft if you add 3 drops of glycerine to the last rinse.
- Chalk or white vinegar will help whiten trouble spots such as shirt cuffs and collars. Or try brushing on pure Marseilles soap or spray HP007 Stain Remover formula.
