The problem here is how to get rid of excess water. You could put them in the machine for a gentle spin cycle, if the clothes are up to it. Treat more delicate clothes as follows:
- cover the drying rack with a towel
- spread woollen sweaters and other delicate items out horizontally to dry so they won’t be stretched out of shape.
- take silk in while it is still damp and iron it before it is completely dry
- Jersey knits, satin, velvet and fustian must not be spun in the machine or wrung out.
