What is stretching all about?
When we iron, standing still infront of the ironing board for an hour or two without interruption, we stand in a tense position, performing unnatural movements which are not particularly good for our muscles and circulatory system.
Stretch and iron: it’s an exercise you can do in front of the ironing board, between one garment and another. Stretch with exercises for the parts of the body that are subjected to the greatest stress during ironing, and you’ll feel lighter and more energetic.

Before you start.
Relax and breathe deeply for a few moments.
Breathe deeply throughout the exercises: never hold your breath.
Hold each position for 20 to 30 seconds.
Your movements should be slow and natural, never sudden.
If you feel any pain, stop immediately.
