It’s normally best to hang tops upside down, pegging them by their bottom hems. Peg trousers and skirts up by the waist. Synthetic and synthetic blend skirts won’t need ironing at all if they’re hung up like this, and the water that has soaked into the thicker part around the waist will flow downward, helping speed up drying.
Socks take up a lot of room on your drying rack. Try pegging them to a coat hanger and then hanging it on the rack.
Don’t hang garments too close together if there’s a chance of them running; you may get a nasty surprise!
Do not hang clothes up in direct sunlight, which could stain and yellow fabrics. Cover the drying rack with an old towel.
