THE PROFESSIONAL DELIVERY NOZZLE FOR SANITIZING SURFACES TO BE FITTED TO THE MONDIAL VAP
 Cleaning does not mean the same thing as sanitising.
They are two separate operations, complementary to one another and each with its own specific requirements. Carried out in sequence, they can make rooms healthier and better to live in.
Cleaning procedures remove the visible dirt from surfaces. The steam used for cleaning is dry and generated at a high pressure. It is the steam – at a temperature of between 120 and 160° - of the professional cleaning machines of the Mondial Vap line.
The dirt is removed thanks to the temperature of the steam and the mechanical action exercised by means of the accessories that come into contact with the surfaces in this way.
Sanitising, on the other hand, is the step that follows cleaning, and is the procedure needed to lower microbial, fungal and viral contamination of surfaces and to keep it within safe limits. In order to sanitise, the steam must be dry and superheated, this means with no liquid particles. In addition to causing a change of temperature on the surfaces and with microorganisms that are hardly compatible with the life of microbes, the higher temperature ensures that the steam does not give rise to condensation. It is the steam generated at up to 180° by Sani System – the Class 2 medical device for professional use – combined with the HpMed sanitising agent.
The new Sani System Kit delivery device exploits the same operating principle as the Sani System device, and is able to generate superheated steam using Mondial Vap machines as a source for generating the steam.
 The Sani System Kit can be connected to Mondial Vap steam cleaners like a normal accessory. The steam is taken directly from the boiler and then transformed into dry superheated steam inside the controlled-expansion heat-exchanging device (Polti worldwide patent) inside the delivery device. The steam is then mixed with HpMed and is delivered without requiring any contact between the actual delivery device and the surface. In this way, proper and effective sanitising is ensured, with no risk of contamination due to contact.
The immediate advantage is that it is possible to offer a combined cleaning and sanitising service rolled into one, with no useless waiting times. The first cleaning phase is carried out using the function of the Mondial Vap machine. Then the Sani System Kit is simply fitted in place and the sanitising operation can be carried out. Everything is within easy reach, making it all handier and less bulky.
At the present time the Mondial Vap models with provisions for fitting the kit are: Mondial Vap 8000, 7000, 6000 and 4500.
